One year ago today, Art was ushered into heaven. I can’t believe it’s already been a year. It hasn’t been easy at times, but I continue to trust and adjust.
I reflect on a song called Eternity that was sung at Art’s Celebration of Life by dear friends who came over and performed a mini concert in his last days.
“I will be yours
You will be mine,
Together in eternity.
Our hearts of love will be entwined
Together in eternity
Forever in eternity.
No more tears of pain, in your eyes.
No more fear or shame.
For we will be with you.”
Another lyric in the duet is “the nails in His hands.” Knowing the nails in His hands leads to eternity. Forever in eternity – that’s where Art is.
Thank you for continuing to come alongside us.
💔✝️💜

Goodness and mercy did follow Art Fong all the days of his life, and now He dwells in the house of the Lord forever! What a promise from the LORD where we will see Art again… forever with, for, and in Christ!
Sweet Post,
When I have games to offer, I often want to add Art to my mailing knowing how he would like these games.
Can’t believe it’s been a year already, still sad in my heart.
Hope you’re all doing well.
David
Hard to believe a year has already gone by. It gave me pause and I reflected on the way we all said goodbye to him and how moving it was to see how many lives he touched, enriched and made joyful. He smiles down on all of us.
Haunted Mansion and Winnie-the-Pooh will never be the same without Art. He is truly missed!
My dear Pam! Thank you so much for this. Doug and I have switched over to the Saturday night service, so we miss seeing you. I think of you often. Praying for you my dear friend. May the Lord continue carrying you and giving you strength. Love you mucho.
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year. While I had moved out of the area & hadn’t physically seen Art in a very long time we stayed in touch. I always told him he was the absolute best boss I had ever worked for. He made things fun! Always had a smile & a funny story or joke to share. I’m glad that he has found his peace and no longer suffers in pain. I know you can hear the USC Marching Band playing Conquest Art. I hope you & my dad have met and can swap SC Alumni stories.
Blessings and comfort to you Pam and the girls.
A year seems so short and so long at the same time.. 🙁
