Every Setback Can Be Turned into a Setup

Pam Fong, February 16, 2025February 16, 2025

It was shared in today’s message at church that setbacks will arise, but they can be a setup for something greater. The cross, the day Jesus died, looked like the ultimate setback. But it was the setup for the greatest comeback… Jesus conquered sin and rose from the dead. God will not be stopped.

Although not quite the same, it made me think of all the setbacks we’ve encountered. Yet, we are set up for something greater. He’s making the way. We received notice that we have a consult with Dr. K at HOPE SoPas on Wed, Feb. 19, at 9:20 am with treatment following at 10:15 am. We have completed the online check-in, and we received some documents from insurance on approvals for treatment. Please pray that Art gains much-needed strength before Wednesday. Grateful.

Thank you, Lord God for your mighty work in Art’s life. Thank you for bringing him and Pam and family through the twists and turns on this difficult journey. I praise you because you ARE holding Art’s hand as he walks through the valley. Give him strength. Give each one peace and rest. Thank you for his doctors. Praying, especially for tomorrow. ❤

Praying for all to go smoothly on Wednesday and all the red tape is behind you! Praise God for connecting you with Dr. K, who sounds like a caring individual. The Lord takes us on paths that seem to weave all over the place but you’re in His good hands the entire way. His shalom be with you and the family,
