[From the Fong family: We continue to be so blessed by the outpouring of support from our community. Many of you have asked, and we have now set up a Meal Train.]
I feel all the love and prayers reaching out to me. It helps to know that I have a prayer army praying for me – it gives me strength. I love hearing all your comments; please continue reaching out. My responses may be delayed but please know your message is not going unnoticed and is appreciated.
Hi Art, I’m trying to find you a “get well” card, but all of the cards I’ve found are just too nice and polite. So until I find the proper (in)appropriate card, this quick note will have to do. Continued prayers and hoping I’ll see you much sooner than later.
Blessings from the Odas.
Continued prayers for healing Art! We all want to see your smiling face at Disneyland again! You have an awesome family and we appreciate these updates. May God give you the strength to endure all the test and give you peace as you go through this trial. We miss you and your family .. from our Evergreen days of the 80’s and 90’s.. take care brother.. stay Strong!💪

Art. I’m sorry for your ordeal. I also have just survived cancer. Reach out to me if you’d like to talk. This is Mitch Desser. You and I worked for Mitchell Valerio at CNB in the 80s. We broke the van window in Kings Canyon.
Art, we (Mark, Ryan, and I) are thinking of you. Ryan says he hope you get well soon so he can see you again at Disney. Sending hugs and praying you will feel so much better soon.
We’ve been with you in prayer albeit from NorCal, Art, every day since you let us know what you were facing. I told William’s youngest brother Samuel about your battle. Even though it’s been 50+ years since he saw you (he does remember he and his dad building a fence in your family’s backyard), he too is quite concerned and is thinking of you now. Our new blended family will be going to Disneyland on 3/9-10, so you know that we’ll be thinking of you there, too. Gosh, it was just ’23 that you invited Janessa and me to spend Christmas Day there with you and Pam. I’m sure that all your friends there miss you too.
Hi Art & Pam – Your family is remarkable, so brave & strong & loving & also great humor. You all are great writers. Even though it’s a rough battle, we see the love you have for each other and for God. Thank you for this blog so that we can share your journey with you and know how to pray for you all. We have been praying for God to be with you in good times and bad and for your care staff to be wise and skilled and caring. We see how your years of being faithful to God and learning His word is being tested and found true now. Glad you’re being cared for at City of Hope. It’s an excellent hospital. I still go for followup of my thyroid cancer. Take care and know we are thinking of and praying for you.
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:6
Hello Art,
